LOW SELF-ESTEEM
Low self-esteem is a feeling of worthlessness that may lead to disturbing behaviours such as eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, loneliness and depression. We can find ourselves withdrawing from society, losing the ability to develop relationships or cultivate friendships and questioning our status, sexuality and image.
Counselling can help to identify the source of low self-esteem, examining issues or incidents that may give rise to those feelings of worthlessness. It can help to generate greater self-belief, self-awareness and self-worth.
